At Metropolitan Peace Initiatives, we like to say, “Those who do the work, lead the work.” 2025 was no exception as we continued our mission to end gun violence in Chicago.

From launching the inaugural class of the Metropolitan Peace Academy Management and Supervision Fellowship to speaking at the Giffords Community Violence Intervention Conference, MPI took action in helping to keep our city safe and grow the field of Community Violence Intervention.
