Metropolitan Peace Initiatives (MPI), a division of Metropolitan Family Services (MFS), is pleased to issue a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the selection of qualified community-based organizations (CBOs) to provide street outreach, mediate and intervene with conflicts, and provide other supports to communities with high incidences of shootings and homicides. These services seek to reduce fatal and non-fatal shooting incidence in eligible communities, which include the 25 neighborhoods in the city of Chicago with the highest rates of fatal & non-fatal shootings and communities formerly funded by the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority (ICJIA).

All required application materials are due by 11:59 pm (CST) on Friday, May 23, 2025. Materials must be submitted via email to saferchicagoproposal@metrofamily.org.
