Earth Day with Brookfield Zoo and Bishop Shepard Little | The Mission Continues

This project will be supported in collaboration with Bishop Shepard Little Memorial Center and Brookfield Zoo Chicago. The Bishop Shepard Little Community Garden hosts Conservation Through Gardening, a program from Brookfield Zoo Chicago, which welcomes individuals of all ages to share in the experience of sustainable gardening practices while connecting with each other. The projects involve spring prep and beautification of the community garden, including planting, weeding, sign installation, composting, trash pickup, and indoor painting. Lunch included for registered participants.
