Institute for Nonviolence Chicago Participant Joins Metropolitan Family Services Pre-Apprenticeship Program

Institute for Nonviolence Chicago (INVC) participant Johannis White and Case Management Supervisor Latasha Henry celebrate his graduation.

Congratulations to Institute for Nonviolence Chicago (INVC) participant Johannis White (and Case Management Supervisor Latasha Henry) for completing the 14-week prep course from St. Augustine College at Lewis University and earning his high school diploma.

With his diploma, he became eligible to interview for a construction and building trades pre-apprenticeship program through Metropolitan Family Services (MFS) and is now on his way to becoming professionally certified. He also received a $2,400 stipend thanks to MFS.
